Tuffy

Tuffy

Meet Tuffy, Escondido Humane Society’s Pet of the Week

Tuffy is a 1 year old Staffordshire mix. "Tuffy" is actually a big softie – he arrived at the shelter with wounds from an encounter with a not so nice dog. Though it took plenty of stitches and baby-talk to heal him (including his ego), he’s now ready for a home. Tuffy is smart, gentle, and sweet. He walks very well on a leash, doesn’t jump, and knows "sit", "down,” and "come". So far, he seems to be fine with dogs of all shapes and sizes, but he gets scared if they're very dominant.

Tuffy’s adoption fee is $110, which includes neutering, microchip, vaccinations, veterinary exam, behavior-support consultations, licensing, and more. To adopt Tuffy or another loving animal, visit the Escondido Humane Society’s Adoption Center at 3450 E. Valley Parkway in Escondido, open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or call 760-888-BARK for details. More information is available on at www.escondidohumanesociety.org, where Tuffy is featured as a Pet of the Month.

Thank you for your help in finding a home for Tuffy.
